About Dom Perignon Vintage

Dom Pérignon Vintage is a vintage champagne made by the Möet & Chandon winery in Champagne, France.

Legend has it that it was the monk Dom Pierre Pérignon who accidentally caused Champagne to have bubbles. Romantic fiction or historical reality, the truth is that Dom Pérignon has since become the father of Champagne, a spirit that lives on in the Möet & Chandon winery, who have created this sparkling wine as a tribute to Dom Pierre Pérignon. At this winery, they spend their days in constant search for the perfect champagne. Dom Pérignon is, for good reason, one of the most desired Champagne names in the world.

Dom Pérignon Vintage is made with the Chardonnay and Pinot Noir varieties and is made only in large Champagne harvests and using best grapes. After a minimum of 8 years of aging in the winery, they reach the perfect balance.

2012

Dom Perignon Vintage 2012 is a finely crafted sparkling wine. On the nose, it is exceedingly complex and evolving, brimming with floral and fruity nuances (apricot, mirabelle plum), complemented by mineral undertones and spicy accents (white pepper). The palate experiences a fresh and vibrant burst, with a zesty acidity encased in a rich bitterness. Deep and intense flavors that crescendo to a finale of ginger, tobacco, and toasted aromas.

2010 Dom Perignon Vintage 2010 is a mature sparkling wine, boasting intricate aromas of stone fruits and citrus, intertwined with hints of white blossoms. These are further enhanced by herbal nuances and subtle roasted undertones. On the palate, it is refined, creamy, and sophisticated with a dazzling acidity that is seamlessly integrated. The finish is extensive and enduring.
2008 Dom Pérignon Vintage 2008 is a champagne that offers an explosion of white flowers, citrus and stone fruits on the nose, complemented by nuances of anise and mint, and the spicy and roasted touches that aging brings. The entrance on the palate is timid but it then clearly emerges to reveal the notes from the nose. It has a sharp profile and surprisingly integrated acidity. It has a long and persistent finish accompanied by smoky nuances. A champagne that is definitely full of life, complex and bright, and from an exceptional vintage.
2006 Rich and with an excellent onset. Subtly fruity nuances and a serene finish.

Crystal-clear, sharp, and captivating yellow hue.

Spiced notes with hints of white flowers.
2002 The Dom Perignon Vintage 2002 captivated us immediately with its soft and silky mid palate. It is intense and warm and fresh at the same time, its aromas are dominated by the notes of fruit that gradually give way to some hints of cream, nuts, spices,... In the background, a subtle and elegant bitter touch is perceived. Rich and opulent flavours, with a wonderful ending.

Pale yellow with golden reflections. Bright and clean. Fine and continuous chain of bubbles that forms a good crown on the surface.

The intense floral notes appear first. Immediately, a surprising explosion of aromas of ripe fruit (apricot) almost tropical and citrus appear along with a wide range of nuts, bakery and yeast and some hints provided during the ageing such as the subtle smoky and toasty nuances. Complexity of aromas that are very elegantly presented.
2000 Mouth: The attack comes direct prelude to an extent which makes lewd and seems like a creeper vine. The notes of aniseed and ginger dry slide on the skin of a fruit (pear and mango) which touch more flesh. The finish is stretched and serene, calm, mature, diffuse.

Gold with green hues.

Nose: The nose first, fresh, crystal clear and firm, reveals an original universe, plants, water, a mixture of white pepper and gardenia. The maturity of the wine is then gently offers lightness and before we can feel its inflections peat.
