About DIT Celler Selenita Blanc

For personal identification, physical and digital access control, mobile device security, and authentication in computer systems... The fingerprint is an essential tool in verifying a person's identity. Just as each fingerprint is unique and personal, DIT Celler, the personal project of Dani Sánchez Nogué (a member of Azul y Garanza) in southern Catalonia, seeks to express individuality and authenticity in each of its wines. This working philosophy is reinforced by the name "DIT" (meaning finger in Catalan), suggesting the importance of the human touch in wine production, from the care of the vine to the vinification process. Such is their commitment to the relationship between humans and the natural environment that it is the first winery in this region with organic certification.

As a pioneer in regenerative agriculture and minimal intervention winemaking, Dani takes it a step further by introducing DIT Celler Selenita Brisat, his first orange wine in D.O. Terra Alta. It is a blend of macabeo and garnacha blanca from vines aged between 20 and 75 years located in the Sierra de Llaberia Natural Park. Vineyards planted on granite sand soil, surrounded by forest and biodiversity, and cultivated organically. Once the grapes reach their optimal ripeness, they are hand-harvested and taken to the winery. There, they undergo spontaneous fermentation with native yeasts and in contact with their skins. After remaining on lees for 6 months, it is bottled without fining or filtering.

With a vibrant and profound outlook, DIT Celler Selenita Brisa is an orange wine that emerges from a unique landscape with its own identity. A distinctive and original personality that marks the imprint of a new generation of wines.
