About Charlopin-Parizot Chambolle-Musigny

Charlopin-Parizot Chambolle-Musigny is a single-variety Pinot Noir red wine produced by the Domaine Charlopin-Parizot in the A.O.C. Chambolle-Musigny, in Burgundy, France.

Philippe and Yan Charlopin are a father and son team who run the Charlopin-Parizot family winery. They work with the potential of the old vines and with low yields to make elegant wines like Charlopin-Parizot Chambolle-Musigny that is traditionally vinified and aged for 18 months in French oak barrels.

Domaine Charlopin-Parizot works to make wines that can be enjoyed when they are young and that are equally good or better when they age. The winery was set up in 1977 with one hectare of vineyard and now has 25 hectares spread across the main Burgundy sub-regions where they produce wines within 35 denominations including eight Grands Crus.
