About Bellotti Semplicemente Vino Bianco

Bellotti Semplicemente Vino Bianco is a natural white wine that is a coupage of chardonnay and cortese produced by Cascina degli Ulivi in thePiedmont area.

Cascina degli Ulivi is a winery that is part of a family farm. Today it has 22 hectares of vineyards, ten of arable land in rotation, one as a vegetable garden, about a thousand fruit trees and a few farm animals. The vineyards have been cultivated biodynamically since 1984 and the winery produces natural wines seeking a clear and pure expression of the grape, its plots and its way of working.

The vineyards for Bellotti Semplicemente Vino Bianco cover a total area of about 5 hectares. They are trained in the Guyot system and have an average age of 20 years. Their soils are acid red and ferrous red clay. All the plots are worked biodynamically, they are harvested by hand and their average yield is 50 hectolitres per hectare.

Once in the cellar, the grapes for Bellotti Semplicemente Vino Bianco are destemmed and pressed gently. The must is then decanted statically for 24 hours to leave it clean. It then undergoes alcoholic and malolactic fermentation spontaneously in a stainless steel tank. Once the wine is fermented, it undergoes ageing on lees for three months in the same tank. Lastly, it is gently filtered and bottled.

Bellotti Semplicemente Vino Bianco 2022 is a dry white wine with aromas of honey and a floral touch. On the palate it is easy to drink and tasty.
2017 Bellotti Semplicemente Vino Bianco 2017 is an intense wine, with mineral touches and notes of ripe white fruit, wildflowers and slate. On the palate it is fresh, mineral, highly-flavoured and persistent.
