About AT Roca Rosat Reserva

The Torelló Sibill family from Sant Sadurní d’Anoia is once again making strategic moves on the Penedès sparkling wine map. Their historic winery Kripta is leaving the DO Cava to join Corpinnat, becoming the sixteenth producer to become part of this collective brand.

The decision was not impulsive, but rather a logical evolution. “We have been linked to Cava from the beginning, but for years the denomination has been heading in a direction that we do not feel is ours. Corpinnat represents the natural path we wish to follow,” the family explains. A clear message that reflects authenticity, territory, and a philosophy that aligns more closely with their understanding of wine.

Speaking of wines that express Penedès with clarity, one that best embodies this spirit is AT Roca Rosat Reserva, a Brut Nature Corpinnat that combines macabeo and garnacha in a blend as fresh as it is elegant.

The grapes are sourced from vines over 30 years old, cultivated under organic agriculture and harvested with the utmost respect. The production follows the traditional method, allowing the secondary fermentation in the bottle and the wine's slow maturation to work their magic. Before being released, this sparkling rosé undergoes 20 months of bottle aging, refining, gaining structure, and developing the fine bubbles that characterize it.

AT Roca is a relatively young project but one with substantial experience. At the helm is Agustí Torelló Sibill and a team with decades of experience in the wine industry, particularly in whites and sparkling wines from Penedès. Their incorporation into Corpinnat strengthens the territory's commitment to wines of origin, quality, and genuine connection to the land.

AT Roca Rosat Reserva 2022 is a cava that immediately captivates with its pale pink hue, pristine and luminous. Its fine and enduring bubbles animate a visual feast within the glass. Bringing it to the nose unveils fresh and sophisticated aromas of pippin apple, sweetened by hints of strawberry and raspberry. On the palate, this cava reveals itself to be fruit-forward and invigorating, with a splendid acidity that harmonizes its subtle sweetness. The creamy texture of the effervescence melds seamlessly, delivering a well-rounded and refined finish.
2018 AT Roca Rosat Reserva 2018 is a fruit-forward sparkling wine boasting fresh red fruit and citrus aromas, herbaceous undertones, and hints of pastry from its aging process. On the palate, it is luscious, velvety, and exquisitely refined. The effervescence is seamlessly integrated, and the acidity is consistently pronounced. The finish is extensive, with enduring citrus nuances.
2013 With a silky progression, it exhibits a commendable acidity that imparts a significant degree of freshness. The finish is reminiscent of citrus notes.
