About M. Chapoutier Belleruche Rouge

Chapoutier Belleruche Rouge is a red wine coupage where the Grenache Tinta predominates and is accompanied by a little Syrah. It belongs to the Apellation Côtes du Rône and is produced by Maison Chapoutier.

Maison Chapoutier is an emblematic winery in the Rhone Valley which was founded in 1808. It is currently run by the prestigious winemaker Michel Chapoutier. The winery produces some of the best wines in France and has obtained a host of 100 Parker points in a few of its wines. Michele Capoutier has also been a precursor of the biodynamic culture in the area.

The vineyards for Chapoutier Belleruche Rouge are located in the departments of Drôme, Vaucluse, Gard and Ardèche. Its soils are of clay, limestone and clayey deposits on alluvial terraces, .

To produce Chapoutier Belleruche Rouge the grapes are completely destemmed and macerated with the skins for approximately 15 days.

Chapoutier Belleruche Rouge is a young red wine from the Rhône, by Michel Chapoutier. It the fruit of the Grenache predominates, and this is accompanied by the spicy touches of the Syrah.

M. Chapoutier Belleruche Rouge 2020 is a powerful red wine. On the nose it is intense, with fruity notes (blackcurrant/raspberry and spicy notes (white pepper). On the palate it is juicy and maintains this fruity character, with notes of roasted coffee. Silky and delicate tannins.
2017 Chapoutier Belleruche Rouge 2017 exudes scents of red fruits, predominantly tart cherries, complemented by hints of licorice and black pepper. On the palate, it presents a delightful structure, with refined and silky tannins. It is a rich and sophisticated wine.
