About Cava Jovani Cuvée Reserva Brut Nature Eco

In 1999, the world was preparing for a significant change: the new millennium. In Europe, the birth of the euro was being fine-tuned, while a new and peculiar family, The Sopranos, was captivating screens in many homes. In Penedès, far from New Jersey and the offices of Brussels, a change was also brewing: Robert Jovani was purchasing a small winery and some vineyards to turn his passion for cava into a lifelong project. Unknowingly, he had just laid the first stone of Jovani.
 
The story continued to grow within the family. In 2007, his three children, Montsa, Robert, and Sergi, left their jobs to join forces in pursuing that dream. Initially under the name Berdié-Hermanos Jovani and later with the family surname already established as their identity. Three distinct personalities found their balance in the winery and a unique way of understanding the bubbles.
 
To craft Cava Jovani Cuvée Reserva Brut Nature Eco, xarel·lo, macabeo, and parellada grapes are selected for their exceptional ripeness and expressiveness, as a brut nature has no sugar to hide behind. After an ageing period of between 15 and 27 months, the result is a dry, fresh, and fruity cava, with intensity and a pleasant texture that makes it particularly easy to pair with food. Organic, serious in its production, yet anything but solemn in the glass.
 
And perhaps that's why Cava Jovani Cuvée Reserva Brut Nature Eco works so well when the table starts to fill with delicious treats. Oysters, anchovies, seafood, something smoked, or simply a good appetiser and time to spare. Jovani was born in a time of change, and more than two decades later, its bubbles still retain some of that same energy.
