About Bermejo Malvasía Seco

Bermejo Malvasía Seco is a white wine of the Malvasía variety that Bodegas Los Bermejos produces entirely in the D.O. Lanzarote.

Located in the volcanic area of La Geria, Bodegas Los Bermejos has managed to reinvent itself in the last 20 years, becoming one of the benchmark wineries of the D.O. Lanzarote. Based on a philosophy of minimal intervention, and taking advantage of the characteristics of the location itself, they have succeeded in reflecting the magic of a land that is impossible to replicate.

Malvasía, one of the oldest known strains, is developed in all its splendour in the white wine Bermejo Malvasía Seco. Strains buried in a lunar landscape that are harvested traditionally and without any type of mechanisation into 20 kg boxes.

Once it enters the cellar, it is pressed and cooled and whole bunches are selected, avoiding any movement that might damage them. In the alcoholic fermentation Bermejo Malvasía Seco ages with its fine lees and is not clarified.

Bermejo Malvasía Seco is a very good opportunity to enjoy the purity and complexity transmitted by Lanzarote’s volcanic Malvasia.

2024

Bermejo Malvasía Seco 2024 is a white wine that embodies the volcanic soul of Lanzarote: as you bring the glass closer, notes of ripe lemon and juicy mango emerge, before giving way to a subtle trace of wildflowers. The sip glides smoothly—almost glycerous—leaving nuances of peach skin and a whisper of dried grass. Its finish is extended, clear and varietal, like a sunset over the craters, inviting a second journey to this island of fire and wind.
2023

Bermejo Malvasía Seco 2023 is a light and highly aromatic white wine. Bringing the glass to your nose reveals intense aromas of tropical fruits like mango and pineapple, complemented by a citrus hint of lemon. On the palate, its taste is fresh and lively, with a balanced acidity that makes it very pleasant. It is an easy-drinking wine, perfect for enjoying on any occasion.

Bermejo Malvasía Seco 2022 is an enchanting white wine that captivates from the initial sip with its zest and vibrancy. As one brings it closer to the nose, a spectrum of scents unfurls, with lemon and mango taking a prominent stance, accompanied by subtle floral undertones. On the palate, its silky and faintly creamy texture guides us through a journey of citrus flavors, dried herbs, and a hint of peach skin. The finish is enduring, leaving a distinct impression of the Malvasía grape variety.

Bermejo Malvasía Seco 2021 presents a greenish-yellow hue. The bouquet is enthralling and multifaceted, showcasing an extensive array of fruity (lemon, mango) and floral notes. On the palate, it is velvety and glyceric, exuding true varietal character, with hints of lemon zest, dried herbs, and peach. The finish is exceptionally prolonged.
2018 Bermejo Malvasía Seco 2018 is an aromatic wine that has nuances of lemon, mango and floral aromas on the nose. On the palate it is pleasant, with an agreeable acidity.
