About Pegaso Zeta

Pegaso Zeta is a red wine crafted by the winery Compañía de Vinos Telmo Rodríguez in Cebreros (Ávila), VT Castilla y León.

Compañía de Vinos Telmo Rodríguez was established through the partnership of two oenologists, Pablo Eguzkiza and Telmo Rodríguez, who possess extensive experience in Bordeaux and La Rioja.

This "company" produces wines across various Spanish appellations (Málaga, Alicante, Rioja, Rueda, Ribera del Duero, Toro...). In every region where the winery operates, they strive to use indigenous grape varieties. They manage approximately 80 hectares divided into more than 350 plots.

Pegaso Zeta is crafted from Garnacha sourced from old bush vines located in the Sierra de Gredos, with granite soils interspersed with slate, atop a magmatic rock base, shallow and well-drained. All vineyards are cultivated using traditional and organic methods.

Harvesting is done by hand with grape selection in the vineyard. Once at the winery, fermentation occurs with native yeasts followed by an ageing period of 6 months in French oak barrels of various origins and ages. It then rests for another 6 months in stainless steel tanks.

Pegaso Zeta 2022 is a fragrant, amiable and elegant. On the nose, the aromas of fresh red fruit stand out, with notes of orange peel and white flowers. In the mouth, it is silky, quite easy to drink and very long.
