About Gazur

Gazur is a young red wine made by Compañía de Vinos Telmo Rodríguez using Tinto Fino grapes that they select from different plots in Ribera del Duero. These vines are cultivated according to the principles of organic agriculture, and mainly grow in different vineyards in Burgos, Spain.

The clusters are pre-selected in the vineyard and when they reach the winery they ferment with native yeasts. The resulting wine undergoes a short aging process where it is refined without losing its freshness.

Telmo Rodríguez is a wizard of landscapes and soils, intuition and wisdom, which means he is able to get the best out of each terroir without sacrificing identity and tradition.

The Gazur wine offers an authentic touch of the Ribera del Duero character. An easy to drink red wine, where the fruit has centre stage.

2021

Gazur 2021 is a supple red, boasting a cherry-red hue with purple highlights. Olfactorily, it captivates with its intricate aromatic complexity, blending herbaceous notes with ripe, macerated fruits. On the palate, it is profoundly intense and flavorful, exuding a vibrant freshness and effortless drinkability.
2020

Gazur 2020 is a red wine with aromas of ripe red fruits on the nose, accompanied by spicy notes, flowers and mountain herbs. On the palate it is pleasant and persistent. A fruity red wine, with refreshing balsamic nuances.
