About Le Naturel Zero Zero Blanco

The phrase “Less is more” is commonly attributed to one of the leading exponents of the modern movement, German architect Ludwig Mies van der Rohe, and encapsulates the idea of eliminating unnecessary elements and focussing on essence and purity. Applied to the world of wine, it refers to a winemaking philosophy that seeks to intervene as little as possible in the winemaking process and allow the grapes and terroir to express themselves authentically in the wine. These are natural productions that, if they are also dealcoholized once made, preserve the original character of the wine, and are especially designed for those who cannot or don’t want to drink alcohol. Aroa Bodegas, one of the projects that the Vintae Group has in Navarra, has hit the nail on the head with this philosophy, and working in the purest way, they have created a collection of wines whose name Le Nature is a declaration of intent.

Their zero alcohol and zero additives wine, Le Naturel Zero Zero Blanco is a blend of Grenache Blanc and Viura from vineyards located in the highest area of the region, in the Yerri Valley (Navarra). They work following organic principles and using biodynamic treatments in every part of the process. After a manual harvest, the best grapes are gently pressed and fermented spontaneously with native yeasts in stainless steel tanks. Without being clarified, filtered or having any ingredients added, the alcohol is removed and all the intrinsic characteristics of the fruit are preserved.

As in architectural design, where simplicity and functionality are considered essential elements to create meaningful spaces, Le Naturel Zero Zero Blanco is a wine that perfectly fits the phrase “less is more” with its zero alcohol.
