About Cati Ribot Bosquet

When you finally see the light, nothing can stop you, and that's how Cati Ribot, upon taking a sommelier course in Barcelona in 2008, discovered wines that were markedly different from the stereotypical ones. This revelation inspired her to venture into creating her own natural wines in her hometown, Santa Margalida, in Mallorca. As the third generation of winemakers from the Galmes i Ribot family, Cati relies on indigenous grape varieties and adheres to a philosophy of minimal intervention. The result is a collection of fluid, fresh, and vertical wines that embody the purity of the terroir.

One of these wines is Cati Ribot Bosquet, a pét-nat crafted from escursac and fogoneu, two native varieties of Mallorca, cultivated using biodynamic practices. In the winery, production is carried out using the ancestral method, aiming to preserve the essence of the grape and the terroir as much as possible. This involves an initial short maceration with the skins of escursac, followed by a re-fermentation with fogoneu, starting fermentation in tanks and completing it in the bottle, without any additional intervention.

Cati Ribot Bosquet is a quintessential example of the authenticity of Mallorcan soil, a testament to Cati Ribot's passion and dedication to her winemaking heritage and her ongoing quest for new horizons in the world of wine. Undoubtedly, a new light that begins to shine brightly.
