In Rioja, two complementary spirits coexist harmoniously today:

Timeless Classicism: red wines distinguished by extended aging in wood, where time in barrel and bottle works its magic. These are silky reds, with notes of vanilla, leather, and spices. Names like López de Heredia (Viña Tondonia), La Rioja Alta, or Marqués de Murrieta are the custodians of this aristocratic style.
