About Mixtura Mix Blanco

If history has taught us anything, it is that the most valuable things emerge when boundaries fade, when cultures intertwine, when instead of building walls, we construct bridges. Diversity not only enriches but also amplifies possibilities, opens new perspectives, and reveals nuances that would otherwise remain hidden. Therefore, when a project is born between Spain and Portugal, separated by the Miño River yet united by a shared passion, we know we are witnessing something special.

This is Mixtura, the vision of Gutier Seijo, former oenologist of Dominio de Bibei, who challenges the established norms and lets the wine speak for itself. To achieve this, he follows intuition, respects the land, and seeks the ultimate expression of the terroir.

An example of this endeavour is Mixtura Mix Blanco, a wine of treixadura and albariño born from selected vineyards in Ribeiro, O Condado de Tea, and Melgaço (Vinho Verde), on sabrego soils and sands with decomposed granite. The harvest is conducted manually, with a cluster-by-cluster selection. Fermentation takes place in vessels, with indigenous yeasts, blending all the grapes from the different vineyards. Finally, the ageing process extends over twelve months on lees in the same vessels, imparting depth and complexity.

Mixtura Mix Blanco is a wine without D.O. that knows no borders, drawing from the richness of the vineyard blend and inviting us to discover Galicia and Portugal in a single glass.
