About Les Cousins L'Inconscient

People say that cousins are your childhood best friends. Two people who have lived this reality are Adrià and Marc, son and nephew of Josep Lluís Pérez, one of the visionaries of the Priorat Revolution, who carry both kinship and the wine gene in their blood.
 
After training both in the family winery (Mas Martinet) and in other wineries abroad, Adrià and Marc decided to set up their own winemaking project together (Les Cousins) with the aim of rescuing old vines belonging to the members of the Agricultural Cooperative of Porrera, also in Priorat.
 
Les Cousins l'Inconscient is a red wine from Priorat, a blend of Carignan, Grenache, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Syrah. Les Cousins l'Inconscient spends 12 months in French oak vats of 7000 litres.
 
With L'Inconscient they offer us a tribute to those unforgettable childhood memories where simple enjoyment was the name of the game. A juicy red wine that is a great introduction to the most expressive Priorat, at an irresistible price!

2019

Les Cousins L'Inconscient 2019 is a succulent red wine brimming with luscious aromas of red and black fruits, complemented by floral undertones. On the palate, it is silky, seamless, and well-balanced. The wine boasts a vivifying acidity and a delightful tannic texture. The finish is extended, punctuated by mineral nuances.

2017 Les Cousins ​​L'Inconscient 2017 is an intense red wine, with body and a lot of fruit. On the nose, this vintage clearly shows all the intensity of the ripe red fruit, with elegant spicy notes on a mineral background. In the mouth, it is easy to drink, with a long and persistent finish.
2013

The palate is silky and full bodied. Good tannic sensation and refreshing acidity. Long finish.



Cherry coloured with purple hues, clean and bright. 



The nose shows a medium-high intensity. Lactic aromas with red fruit notes give way to toasted flavours, smokiness and minerals.
2011 It is direct at the attack and shows a good, light and silky mid palate. A well-bodied wine with a good tannic sensation and a refreshing acidity. Long finish with a marked persistence. A joyful, casual and lively red wine.

Cherry colour with violet reflections and light ruby red edges. Clean and bright. Dense and abundant tears.

Medium-high intensity nasal aromas. Initially, the milky aromas melt with the notes of red fruit and remind us of strawberry yoghurt. They give way to toasted, smoked and mineral notes.
