About Ettore Germano Langhe Nebbiolo DOC
There are wines that are born to enchant without raising their voice. This nebbiolo from Ettore Germano does so with that natural grace that distinguishes Italians: effortlessly elegant, sincere, and luminous. A wine that requires no grand gestures to linger in the memory.
The story of Ettore Germano begins in 1856, in the heart of the Langhe (Piedmont, Italy) amidst the hills that are now a World Heritage Site. Four generations of winemakers have cultivated these lands with a blend of ancient wisdom and contemporary vision. Here, tradition serves as a compass, not a cage. In Serralunga d’Alba, where the clay and limestone soil paints postcard-worthy landscapes, each vineyard is tended with an almost reverential respect for the natural rhythm of the countryside.
Ettore Germano Langhe Nebbiolo DOC is born from young, sun-drenched vineyards, at an altitude of approximately 400 metres above sea level. Following a manual harvest, the grapes are gently vinified to preserve their freshest notes: vibrant aromas of ripe cherry, dried petals, and a subtle spicy background. The brief aging in stainless steel accentuates its clean, direct, and luminous character. This red wine is an accessible version of nebbiolo, perfect for turning an ordinary day into a very special moment.
Ettore Germano Langhe Nebbiolo DOC invites a leisurely meal, at a sunlit table, with simple and flavourful dishes: a ragù pasta, artisanal cured meats, aged cheeses, or a lively conversation. For in each glass, a piece of the Langhe is captured, and with it, the serene pleasure of living well.
