About Ceretto Arneis Blangé
Ceretto Arneis Blangé is an organic young white wine made with the Arneis variety in the D.O.C. Langhe (Piedmont) by Ceretto.
This family winery has been producing wines in the Italian hills of Langhe, in Piedmont, since 1936. The Ceretto winery stands out for being an innovator in the region; they were the first to use stainless steel for fermentation, controlling temperature, reducing maceration times and shortening aging. They were also one of the first to mark a new era in Piedmont, by producing white wine using the native Arneis variety.
Ceretto Arneis Blangé comes from vines planted in Roero, an area with sandstone and pebble soils and calcareous loam. With an arid continental climate and the lowest rainfall in Piedmont, this area is ideal for making this white wine. They use organic farming and the harvest is carried out manually when the grapes are quite ripe.
In the winery, the Ceretto Arneis Blangé grapes are carefully selected before beginning the winemaking process. Once pressed, the must is placed in stainless steel tanks and left there to ferment with native yeasts at a controlled temperature to preserve the freshness and fragrances of the native Arneis variety.
Ceretto Arneis Blangé represents a before and after in the world of Piedmont wine. A white wine that honors the prestige of an world-renowned terroir. A fragrant and fresh delight.
