About Venta la Ossa Syrah

Venta la Ossa Syrah is a red wine by Bodegas Mano a Mano, owned by the group Grupo Avante Selecta, located in the region of Ciudad Real, in the municipality of Alhambra, within the designation VT Castilla. This varietal wine is made of Syrah grapes from the estate Finca La Solana and is aged for 12 months in French and American oak barrels.
2011 Bulky and fleshy wine. It fills the mouth with a sensation of ripe fruit which accompanies the wine during its dense and silky mid-palate, which is marked by a great acidity and ripe, direct and well-defined tannins. Long and persistent finish. Excellent value (and pleasure) for money.

Cherry red colour with violet edges. Covered, clean and bright. Abundant slightly-coloured tear.

High intensity nose, full of nuances. Very ripe red fruit stands out together with notes of ripe black fruit. As it is opened, certain floral notes appear, as well as aromas of violets, balsamic and sweet roasted hints, coffee, toffee, coca and sweet spices.
2010 This wine is pleasant in the mouth as well as fleshy and full-bodied. It fills the mouth with a sensation of ripe fruits, dense and silky on the palate, marked by a good acidity and ripe, direct and well-defined tannins. Long and persistent finish. Excellent value for money.

Picota cherry colour with violet reflections. Covered, clean and bright. Abundant slightly tinted tears on the glass.

High intensity and full of nuances. Very ripe red fruit along with notes of in season black fruit. Once opened out floral notes, violets, balsamic notes, tasty roasted aromas, coffee, toffee, cocoa and sweet spices appear.
2009 In the mouth, it is nice as well as full-bodied and fleshy. It fills the mouth with a sensation of ripe fruit which accompanies the wine in its mid-palate, dense and silky, marked by a good acidity and ripe tannins, direct and well-defined. Long and persistent finish. Excellent value for money.
