About Terra Remota Clos Adrien

Terra Remota Clos Adrien is a red wine produced in Emporda by Terra Remota in Sant Climent Sescebes, Gerona.

This winery was created by Emma and Marc Bournazeau in the heart of Alt Emporda. It boasts 40 hectares of ecologically cultivated and planted vineyards.

Terra Remota Clos Adrien is made with the best vines selected from the Syrah (90%)and Garnacha Tinta (10%)varieties which are harvested manually into 10kg boxes. A selection process takes place before the grapes are destemmed. It is macerated gently for 6 months using the pigeage system. Malolactic fermentation and ageing take place in new French oak barrels for 24 months.

2016

Terra Remota Clos Adrien 2016 is a sumptuously rich red wine. The bouquet reveals mineral nuances interwoven with black fruit, spices, cocoa, vanilla, and brioche. On the palate, it is intense, refined, and sophisticated. Well-structured, it offers flavors of black fruits, plums, violets, and cinnamon. The tannins are subtle and seamlessly integrated. The finish is prolonged, with a delectably sweet and iodine-inflected note.
