About Peraj Petita Rosat

Peraj Petita Rosat is a monovarietal Kosher Grenache Tinta rosé wine from the D.O. Montsant produced by the Celler de Capçanes.

The Celler de Capçanes is a cooperative winery in Capçanes, in the south of the Priorat, founded in 1933 by 5 families. 5% of the wine produced in the winery is kosher, wines made under the precepts of the Jewish community and suitable for their consumption.

Peraj Petita Rosat is a Kosher wine because it is vinified under the strict supervision of the Orthodox Union. In addition, it is a highly certified kosher wine: Lo mebushal (unpasteurised) and Le Pessaj (suitable for the Jewish Passover).

The grapes for Peraj Petita Rosat come from terraced plots with strains that are around 25 to 50 years old, planted in clay and granite soils. It has been vinified following the drawing off method: the must macerates with the skins for about 4 to 6 hours until they transmit the desired colour to the must. The must is then fermented at a low temperature, around 13-15 ºC, in order to highlight the fresh and fruity aromas that the grape can provide. Once vinified, it ages for 4 months in stainless steel tanks before being bottled.

Peraj Petita Rosat is a kosher rosé wine with a bright and clean rose petal colour, very aromatic and fresh, with lots of fruit, perfect for fresh pasta, salmon or chicken.
2018 Peraj Petita Rosat 2018 is a very aromatic wine reminiscent of red fruit. On the palate it has interesting acidity that refreshes and is sweet, and has a discreet sweetness that invites you to repeat the experience. Lingering and persistent.
