About Pasos de San Martín

Pasos de San Martín is a red wine from the Navarra D.O region. It is produced by the Artazu winery. This wine is produced using solely Garnancha grapes.

The grapes used to make this wine come from vineyards that are around 35 years old and that grow 600 metres above sea level. These are located near the own of San Martin de Unxa in Navarra. The climate is pyrenean, where the weather is slightly colder throughout the year. Pasos de San Martín, after the appropriate processes of harvesting and vinification, is made using conventional techniques, and ferments malolactially in barrels.
Before being bottled and made available for sale, Pasos de San Martín is aged for one year in barrels of French oak which have a capacity of 500 litres.

The Artazu winery belongs to the Artadi group. Founded in 1996, Artazu is one of the benchmarks of the Navarra D.O region.
2015 Pasos de San Martin 2015 is a balanced, expressive and accessible red wine. This vintage stands out especially for its freshness. On the nose it displays aromas of ripe red fruit, floral notes and very elegant spices. It is smooth on the palate, lively and with a lingering and fresh finish.
2013 Robust and commanding. Sweet with an excellent acidity. Harmonious and fruit-forward.

Deep ruby with hints of crimson. Lustrous and enticing.

Aromas of fresh red fruit. Subtle notes with hints of minty nuances.
