Marguet Yuman Blanc de Blancs Premier Cru is a biodynamic Brut Nature Champagne made with the Chardonnay variety by Marguet in Champagne.

Marguet dates back to 1850 with Emile Marguet, who was one of the first producers in the town of Ambonnay to graft their best vines with American rootstocks because of phylloxera. Marguet Pere et Fils was established in 1991, and in 2005 Benoit Marguet took charge of the brand. This young winemaker with clear ideas now manages 8 hectares of vineyards that are cultivated according to the principles of organic and biodynamic agriculture.

The Marguet Yuman Blanc de Blancs Premier Cru grapes come from vineyards located in Vrigny, a town in the Montagne de Reims area that is classified Premier Cru. These vineyards are certified biodynamic by Demeter and they work with the most natural ancient techniques without any machinery. Ploughing is carried out exclusively with 2 horses and the harvest is completely manual.

Based on biodynamic principles and following the lunar calendar, Marguet Yuman Blanc de Blancs Premier Cru undergoes alcoholic and malolactic fermentation in the barrel. It is then racked and put into enamelled steel tanks. No sugar and only a limited amount of sulphur is added.
