About Ediciones I-Limitadas Luno Tinto

Luno is a red wine from the D.O Montsant produced by Ediciones I-Limitadas. This is a blend of the varieties Cabernet Sauvignon, Cariñena, Garnacha Tinta and Syrah.

The grapes for Luno originate from old vines located at 250 to 450 meters above sea level. The soils are mainly calcareous clay.

The harvest is completed at the end of September and extends for nearly a month more. The grapes are manually picked and transferred to the winery in small 16 kg capacity containers.

After the winemaking processes have been performed according to the traditional methods, Luno rest for 8 months in French and American oak barrels.

Ediciones I-Limitadas is a project set up by the well-known oenologist Alfredo Arribas, from Portal del Priorat. These wines are only from low yielding and great quality vines produced in the D.O Montsant and D.O Priorat.

2019

Luno 2019 is a captivating red wine. The bouquet is rich and luscious, unveiling ripe fruits, sweet spices (vanilla, cinnamon, toffee, cocoa), and a subtle woody undertone. The palate is expansive and embracing. It's meaty and luscious, with herbal nuances and a lively acidity. Flavorful with a lingering finish. 
2013 Long and robust, it exhibits a fruity character.

Cherry red of good intensity.

Vibrant and fruity with a pleasant spiced undertone.
2012 Fresh and flavoursome. Good and persistent opening, juicy and fruity.

Cherry red with undertones of carmine red. Very lively.

Strong presence of red fruit. Vegetal and wood notes.
