About Giovanna Tantini Bardolino

Giovanna Tantini Bardolino is a red wine made by Giovanna Tantini with the Corvina and Rondinella varieties in the AOC Bardolino in the Veneto area (Italy). 
 
The winery of the viticulturalist Giovanna Tantini was built in 2002 between the towns of Castelnuovo del Garda and Sona on the shores of Lake Garda, in the province of Verona. A family estate which focuses on producing quality wines directly following all the production phases from the vineyard to vinification and ageing. 
 
With a total of 11.5 hectares of vineyards 100 meters above sea level, Giovanna Tantini Bardolino is the fruit of the native Corvina and Rondinella varieties. These vines are planted on glacial, stony and calcareous soil. Environmentally-friendly agriculture is practiced and, when the grapes reach their optimum ripeness, they’re harvested by hand in small crates. 
 
In the cellar, each variety that Giovanna Tantini Bardolino consists of macerates separately for 15 days. Fermentation is carried out at a controlled temperature of 26ºC for 15-20 days and after malolactic fermentation, the wines are blended to mature for 6 months in stainless steel tanks. 
 
The fruit of one of the most important wine-growing areas in the Veneto region, Giovanna Tantini Bardolino is the main wine from this family winery. A fruity and fresh red wine with a good longevity in bottle. 

 

2023

Giovanna Tantini Bardolino 2023 is a delight in the glass, thanks to its vibrant, brilliant ruby hue.
