About Dehesa de los Canónigos Quinta Generación

We present Dehesa de los Canónigos' latest release, Dehesa de los Canónigos Quinta Generación, their youngest wine. This new wine by Belén Sanz, the winery's oenologist, is one of the many projects underway for the winery's 25th anniversary.
This wine from the D.O. Ribera del Duero is a Tempranillo (100%) single-varietal. The grapes come from a single, 20 year old vineyard called "El caserío". As for its ageing, this wine has been aged in American oak barrels for 4 months.
2012 Very fruity, silky and fresh with good balance.

A purplish picota red colour.

Very fruity at first, later joined by balsamic notes and touches of liquorice.
