About Conde de Valdemar Gran Reserva

Conde de Valdemar Gran Resreva is a red wine from the D.O.Ca Rioja produced by Bodegas Valdemar.

Bodegas Valdemar is a well-known Rioja family winery with a century-old wine-making tradition that began in 1889.

The grapes for Conde de Valdemar Gran Reserva come from the selection of old vines in the winery in the Rioja Alavesa.

The wine is a coupage where the Tempranillo, present at 85%, predominates and is accompanied by 10% Graciano and 5% Maturana.

Conde de Valdemar Gran Reserva has been aged for 32 months. Three quarters of the barrels in which it has been aged are French oak and the rest are American oak.

Conde de Valdemar Gran Reserva shows us a Rioja Tempranillo aged for a long time accompanied by Graciano and Maturana. A powerful and spicy wine.
2010 Conde de Valdemar Gran Resreva 2011 has powerful spicy aromas of vanilla and cocoa. On the palate it is also very powerful and  rounded, and has a long aftertaste.
