About Clos Lentiscus Cric Cric Blanco

Clos Lentiscus Cric Cric Blanco is a natural, ecological and vegan white wine made by Clos Lentiscus in Penedès (Catalonia) with the native Xarel·lo variety.
 
 
Clos Lentiscus is a 14th century family estate in the heart of the Garraf Natural Park. This is a very leafy and typically Mediterranean place where the current owner, Manel Avinyó, makes all his wines according to biodynamic principles. These wines are made to enjoy and are a direct reflection of the cheerful and generous personality of this great little producer. 
 
 
Clos Lentiscus Cric Cric Blanco comes from vines planted in calcareous sandy soils. They are manually cultivated using organic agriculture and no chemical products, instead using biodynamic treatments that preserve the natural balance of the vineyard. And animals like his horse Ringo, sheep and bees are very important residents that help maintain biodiversity. 
 
 
Once the Clos Lentiscus Cric Cric Blanco grapes have been manually harvested, they go through direct pressing and the resulting must is placed in stainless steel for 8 months to undergo alcoholic fermentation with native yeasts. Once ready, the wine is bottled with no added sulphites.
 
 
Clos Lentiscus Cric Cric Blanco is a light, crisp and easy to drink white wine. A 100% Xarel·lo sold in an attractive 1-litre bottle, making it perfect for sharing with friends. 
 
2020

Clos Lentiscus Cric Cric Blanco 2020 is a youthful, mellow white wine. Olfactorily, it is fragrant, exuding fruity nuances. On the palate, it is silky and full-bodied, endowed with a well-balanced acidity. 
2018 Clos Lentiscus Cric Cric Blanco 2018 is an aromatic white wine with fragrances of white and yellow fruit and herbaceous touches. On the palate it is fresh, crisp and easy to drink.
