Clos Cibonne Cuvée Prestige Caroline Tibouren Rosé is an elegant rosé wine with ageing made from the Tibouren varieties, a grape that is native toProvence, and a minimum part of Grenache, produced by Clos Cibonne in Côtes de Provence, France.

Clos de Cibonne takes its name from Jean-Baptiste de Cibon, a captain in the Royal Navy of Louis XVI and first owner of the vineyards which were sold to the ancestors of the Roux family, current owners of the Clos, in 1797.

In the 1930s, André Roux was a pioneer in the conservation and cultivation of the Tibouren grape, a native strain of the area, from which light, elegant, fruity and almost transparent rosés are obtained. Without the initiative of Roux, who died in 1989, this variety would quite probably have disappeared. At present Clos Cibonne is the great ambassador of this Tibouren grape in France and quite probably in the rest of the world.

Clos Cibonne Cuvée Prestige Caroline Tibouren Rosé is a rosé wine that comes from plots of shale and clay soils that are cultivated according to the principles of organic agriculture, and whose grapes are harvested manually. The resulting wines are aged in hundred-year-old 300 litre barrels.

2017 Clos Cibonne Cuvée Prestige Caroline Tibouren 2017 is a rosé wine with ageing that offers a wide palette of floral aromas and ripe red fruit, spices and honey. On the palate it is powerful, balanced and fresh, with a subtle vanilla note. Very gastronomic.
