Torre de Golbán Crianza

Torre de Golbán Crianza is a red wine from the D.O Ribera del Duero produced by the Dominio de Atauta winery. This wine is made using only Tempranillo grapes. 

The grapes used to make Torre de Golbán Crianza come from vineyards that are between 60 and 80 years old and are situated at 900 metres above sea level. The vines grow on sandy loam soils and the area is characterised by a continental climate with mediterranean influences.

After the harvest has been carried out and the grapes are transported to the winery, the grapes are destemmed and lightly pressed. Following this, they undergo fermentation in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature.

Torre de Golbán Crianza then ages for a minimum of one year in French oak barrels, 70% used 30% new. The wine is then bottled without being stabilised.

The Dominio de Atauta winery is situated in the province of Soria, located at 900-1000 metres above sea level. It overseas over 600 plots among which 15 hectares belong to the winery itself.  From their old vines, most of them are even pre-phylloxera.
