The Macallan Edition 6 Single Malt Scotch Whisky is an antique brass-coloured whisky that offers delicious fruity aromas on the nose wrapped in nuances of caramel, oak, nutmeg, chocolate, ginger, vanilla and toffee. On the palate it expresses itself with a sweet entry accompanied by flavours of plums and oranges. The notes that appear on the nose are reaffirmed and lead to a long finish where creamy chocolate and toasted oatmeal appear.

This special edition is designed to celebrate the natural wonders surrounding the distillery, especially the influence of the River Spey, which runs through The Macallan Estate, one of Scotland’s most legendary and home to the mighty Atlantic salmon.
 
All The Macallan casks are matured in this special natural environment. Five different grades of both European and American oak are used to create The Macallan Edition 6 Single Malt Scotch Whisky, creating a multi-faceted flavour profile and providing everything from beautiful colour to the deepest and most rewarding layers of aromas.
