The screw cap Coravin allows you to use the Coravin system with bottles that have this kind of cap. Just replace the original cap with the Coravin screw cap and close the bottle tightly.

 

The system is exactly the same: the needle is inserted, and once the bottle is pressurised, the desired wine can be extracted. When you have the desired amount of wine, close the bottle using the Coravin screw cap.

This cap keeps the wine in a good condition for up to three months. Each cap can handle 50 punctures.

It includes 6 standard Coravin screw caps.

 

The Coravin system was created by Greg Lambert, an engineer from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, when his wife became pregnant and stopped drinking wine. The passion of this engineer for good wines along with the need to avoid wasting the rest of the wine from bottles he uncorked and did not finish, led him to design a prototype that has revolutionised the world of wine. Since then, we are able to enjoy great wines without having to finish the entire bottle.
