About Mirabeau Pure Provence Rosé
Stephen Cronk proposed to his wife Jeany in Mallorca, with a bottle of rosé wine. As well as their love, Jeany and Stephen are united by their passion for wine.
Stephen owned a small wine importing business that he had to give up due to the economy, to pursue a promising career in a telecommunications company; however, that didn’t really satisfy him, so in 2009 Stephen and Jeany Cronk decided to give it all up for their dream. They sold their house in South London, in the midst of the global financial crisis, and set off in search of the blue skies and sunshine of Provence (France) with the aim of making world-class rosé wines that would convey the Provençal lifestyle and become synonymous with friends and family sharing unforgettable moments together.
With that they set up Domaine Mirabeau. This was the beginning of Mirabeau Pure Provence Rosé, the winery’s flagship wine, which they define as “Provence in a glass”. A rosé inspired by the wonderful days on the Côte d'Azur, made from the Grenache, Syrah and Cinsault varieties grown in clay-limestone soils in plots lying between 200 and 300 metres above sea level.
The grapes are harvested at night to guarantee the integrity and maintaining the best characteristics of the grapes which, when they reach the winery, are gently, directly pressed, partially cold macerated and fermented under controlled temperatures, resulting in a wine with an explosion of aromas.
Mirabeau Pure Provence Rosé is a brilliant wine, a pleasant rosé that is superbly crafted and deliciously seductive, perfect for celebrating all those who are determined to follow their dreams.
