Juvé & Camps Pinot Noir Brut Rosé is a sparkling wine from the D.O. Cava made by Juvé & Camps with the Pinot Noir variety in Sant Sadurní d'Anoia (Catalonia).
Juvé & Camps began its winegrowing journey in 1796 on the Espiells family estate, in the heart of Sant Sadurní d'Anoia (Alt Penedès). But it was not until 1921 when Antoni Juvé and his wife Teresa Camps made the estate’s first sparkling wine. All their hard work has been passed down generation to generation, and this has become a leading cava brand around the world.
Juvé & Camps Pinot Noir Brut Rosé comes from an estate lying between 180 and 245 metres above sea level. This is a Mediterranean plot with poor soils of sedimentary origin and a marked calcareous component. The vines are cultivated using traditional agriculture and the harvest is carried out manually when the grapes reach optimum ripeness.
Juvé & Camps Pinot Noir Brut Rosé is made using the champenoise method. Firstly, the base wine is made with Pinot Noir grapes and, once the must has fermented, a second fermentation takes place in the bottle. It stays there for 9 to 15 months on lees before disgorgement and dosage.
Coming from one of Juvé & Camps’ most Mediterranean estates in Espiells, Juvé & Camps Pinot Noir Brut Rosé is a dry, bright and bubbly cava. A very seductive single-variety Pinot Noir.
