About Cono Sur Bicicleta Chardonnay

Cono Sur Bicicleta Chardonnay is a white wine made by Cono Sur with the Chardonnay variety in the Chilean Central Valley area and part of the D.O. Colchagua.
 
The Cono Sur project began in 1993 in one of the southernmost parts of America, in the Chilean town of Chimbarongo, with the aim of making wines using European methods but that convey the essence of the New World. With a total of 400 hectares with the Andes in the background, the winery produces high-quality, easy-to-drink wines that have won people over all around the world. 
 
Cono Sur Bicycle Chardonnay comes from vineyards planted in alluvial, sandy and slightly clayey soils. The vines are traditionally cultivated, with limited yields and, thanks to the strong temperature contrasts, the grapes have a high level of sugar. 
 
In the winery, the Cono Sur Bicicleta Chardonnay grapes are selected, destemmed and pressed. Then the resulting must ferments in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature for 4-12 months before being bottled. 
 
Made by one of the most internationally famous Chilean wineries, Cono Sur Bicicleta Chardonnay is a southern wine where the French Chardonnay variety appears surprisingly expressive and exquisitely fruity.

Cono Sur Bicicleta Chardonnay 2019 is an aromatic white wine with an intense bouquet of citrus, stone fruits and white flowers. On the palate it is fresh, young and concentrated. A balanced wine with a very balanced acidity and exquisite fruit flavours.
