About Clos MontBlanc Syrah Únic

Clos MontBlanc Syrah Premium is a D.O. Conca de Barberà red by Bodegas Clos Mont-Blanc.

The grapes of this Syrah (100 percent) single varietal originate from vines that are over 20 years old. The harvest takes place at the beginning of October and the alcoholic fermentation process is carried out in steel tanks. The wine is then moved to barrels in which it is aged for 9-12 months following a short maceration process.

2018
Clos MontBlanc Syrah Únic 2018 is an exquisite red, boasting a deep garnet cherry hue. The bouquet artfully melds black fruit and spices with nuanced oaky undertones. On the palate, it is robust and meaty, replete with spicy and balsamic accents. The finish is extensive and enduring. 
2011 A very enjoyable wine, smooth on the palate, filling the mouth with black fruit and toasted notes. Excellent acidity. A long and very persistent finish, with fruity and spicy sensations left lingering. 

Attractive and intense cherry red colour. Clean and bright with nice tears on the glass.

Intense aromas of black fruit intermingle with spices and balsamic notes. Nice toasted nuances and very suble mineral touches appear in the background.
2009 Very nice wine which goes through the palate gently coating the mouth with notes of black fruit and toasted aromas. Excellent acidity and a long and persistent finish that leaves fruity and spicy sensations.
