Red wine from the D.O. Montsant made of Grenache grapes grown on slate soils, Mazuelo grapes grown on clay soils and Syrah grapes grown on a soil with calcareous components. The vineyards are located close to the Mediterranean Sea; however, they are located at 550m altitude, between two mountains. The fermentation of the must takes place in stainless steel tanks, and the malolactic fermentation in barrels.
Zerrán is aged for 16 months in French oak barrels.
A fruity, complex and well-balanced wine.
