Basque Country wine

The wine from the Basque Country is presented in a large number of denominations of origin based on its processing areas and the guidelines established by each of these. The geography of this area extends from the coastal areas bathed by the Bay of Biscay to the inland area of Logroño. White wines and young red wines stand out among the wines from the Basque Country. Among these, special mention must be made to txakolin, a wine (normally white) with a certain acidity and sparkle that makes it very characteristic.
