Vina Real Crianza is a red wine from La Rioja produced by Viña Real, a member of the CVNE group. It is a blend of Tempranillo (90%), which clearly dominates, and Garnacha, Mazuelo and Graciano (10%).
Vina Real Crianza is produced from grapes from vineyards in the area of La Rioja Alavesa, they are harvested manually and undergo the production process in the Viña Real.
The grapes, once destemmed, are left in stainless steel tanks where the alcoholic fermentation takes place for 10 to 12 days at 26º.
After malolactic fermentation, Vina Real Crianza is transferred to barrels of American and French oak.
Vina Real Crianza is aged for a period of between 13 and 14 months. During this time, the wine is racked every half year.
The CVNE group is made up of Cune, Contino, and Viña Real wineries. This winery, which already has 125 years of history, is known for its ability to combine tradition and innovation.
