D.O. Ribeiro (Galicia)
Viña Meín Blanco is a white wine from the D.O. Ribeiro made by the Viña Meín winery, founded in 1988 in the town of Leiro (Orense).
The particular geographical location of the Ribeiro area, in Galicia, protects the vines from the constant storms of the Atlantic and creates an oceanic-Mediterranean climate, where it is mostly humid and has a mild average temperature of 14º. These characteristics make it possible to produce wines with well-ripened grapes and a good acidity.
This wine is a blend where the dominant variety, Treixadura (70%) is joined by the Godello, Loureira, Torrontés, Albariño and Lado varieties (which together make up 30%) from 16 hectares of vines growing right next to the San Clodio Monastery.
Viña Meín Blanco 2018 is a white wine with delicious aromas of white and yellow fruit, suggestive floral notes and herbal touches. On the palate it is fresh, dry and harmonious. A very expressive wine with a smooth mid-palate and a long and fine aftertaste.
