Viña Arana 2009 is a medium-bodied, complex red wine. Its 36 months of ageing give it finesse and an equal amount of complexity. A very typical balance of the classic Rioja wines with a long ageing.
On the palate it is balanced, medium bodied with an elegant acidity and soft tannins.
Cherry red. Clean and bright.
On the nose it has great aromatic power with notes of candied fruit (strawberries and blueberries) and touches of wood, balsamic, vanilla and cocoa.
A medium-bodied and balanced red wine with silky tannins and a finaland pleasant final acidity which lengthens the wine in the mouth. Long and persistent finish. Complex and elegant.
A dark cherry red colour with pale maroon tones, medium-robe.
Good aromatic intensity and fresh nasal aromas, with notes of spicy wood, tobacco, cocoa and caramel harmoniously mixed with notes of perfectly ripe red fruit.
It is powerful and silky in the palate with a very tasty but soft mid palate. High presence of fruit which makes it very pleasant. The good notes of toasted do not undermine the notes of fruit. Well-integrated and ripe tannins. Well-bodied wine with a long and very persistent finish and a balsamic and spicy aftertaste.
