Masciaelli, one of the ambassador wineries that has made Italian wine known all over the world, won’t be left behind. As well as being responsible for the renaissance of the Abruzzo, he is also responsible for modernising the traditional style. Under this umbrella we find Valori, a project run by Luigi Valori, the versatile character who hung up his football boots and decided to put his efforts into his second passion: wine. In 1996 he moved to Teramo Hills, one of the most fruitful areas to produce the native Montepulciano star variety due to its proximity to the Adriatic Sea, where, with the help of his friend Gianni Masciarelli, he has managed to integrate French viticulture techniques with Abruzzo’s tradition.
His rosé, Valori Cerasuolo d'Abruzzo Bio, is a single-variety Montepulciano wine, which moving away from the traditional structure and body, presents a softer and more subtle version of this emblematic native grape. Cultivation is 100% organic and Luigi only works with organic products that do not harm the environment. When the grapes reach optimum ripeness, they are harvested manually and taken carefully to the winery. They are then selected, destemmed and fermented in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature.
Once bottled, Valori Cerasuolo d'Abruzzo Bio presents itself as a versatile, honest and informal rosé. A new generation wine that, thanks to its pleasant organoleptic harmony, can be taken anywhere.
