Sameirás Libro Tinto is a red wine coupage of the Brancellao, Sousón and Caiño Tinto varieties, made by Adega Antonio Cajide (Sameirás) in the D.O. Ribeiro in Galicia, Spain.

To make the Sameirás Libro Tinto wine, the bunches are selected in the vineyard and all the varieties ferment with their native yeasts. The coupage is dominated by the Caiño grape, an elegant and aromatic variety that spends a short time in oak to bring out its personality. The resulting wine ages for 3 months in oak barrels. A highly sought after, limited production wine with only 1,200 bottles.

Antonio Cajide runs the Sameirás winery, where he works to recover the family wine-growing tradition. Cajide has gone back to his origins and works the six hectares of vineyards with a strict selection process. There are up to 3 harvests a year from vines up to 70 years old. This ensures the grapes are high quality and always harvested at the optimum point of ripeness. This results in some of the most sought-after and difficult to find wines.

Sameirás Libro Tinto is considered by critics to be the best, most aromatic and full of character wine from Sameirás.

La Treixadura has established itself as the prominent variety of the Ribeiro. The variety has become irreplaceable in the region, responsible for the fame achieved by the region's wines, as well as their glorious past. It is a well planted strain, vigorous, fairly resistant to disease, with middle productivity and late maturing, which helps produce wines with a spectacular and personal character through the variety, full of freshness and flavour in the mouth, and added mystery.
