Trio Infernal Riu is a red wine from Priorat prepared by the Trio Infernal cellar. This wine is a blend of Grenache (45%), Carignan (45%) and Syrah (10%).

The vineyards from which the grapes come are located at an altitude of between 300 and 500 metres. These are treated by organic viticulture.

Once in the winery, the grapes are fermented in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature and extraction is performed by manual movement.

The maceration lasts about a month and the final aging is carried out for 12 months in French oak barrels previously containing one or two wines with capacity of 500 litres.

The beauty of the lands of Montsant seduced Combier, Fisher and Gerin, three French winemakers who decided in 2002 to start the Infernal Trio project.

Fisher-Gérin-Combier was created in 2002 by three French winemakers in Torroja de Priorat, seduced by the magical landscape of vineyards at the foot of the Montsant mountains, and motivated by the determination of a common project. On one trip, while seeking the ideal location for your project, visit René Barbier (Clos Mogador), a leading 'guilty' of the new Priorat, and he convinces them that this is the perfect place to develop your dream.
Pictures and situation Trio Infernal
Priorat is craftsmanship and tradition, old and robust vines that are grown and born deep inside the province of Tarragona. They are grown on slopes that are sleety with low fertility and difficult to grow in. In Priorat they produce great red wines of an excellent quality, a maroon colour, robust, dense and rich flavour, intense aromas and sometimes there are reflections present of minerals from the soils.
