



Quinta da Palmirinha Branco is a white wine coupage of the Azal Branco and Arinto varieties produced by the Quinta da Palmirinha winery in the DOC Vinho Verde, in Minho, Portugal.
The grapes used to make the Quinta da Palmirinha Branco wine come from plots that are worked according to the principles of biodynamic agriculture. When the grapes reach the winery, they ferment spontaneously with their native yeasts and the resulting wine ages under lees with periodic battonages.
Fernando Paiva, owner of the Quinta da Palmirinha winery, was one of the pioneers in working his vineyards according to the principles of biodynamic agriculture in Portugal. His Quinta is located in the Sousa Valley and is around 3 hectares in size. He completely restructured his land and planted regional varieties. Since 2007, he has had Demeter certification.
