Polvorete is a white wine made by Emilio Moro with the Godello variety in El Bierzo, in the Castilla y León region (Spain).
Bodegas Emilio Moro is a family winery founded in 1891 in Pesquera de Duero, in the province of Valladolid, and ever since the beginning they have worked to become a world-leading producer. There are three generations of work behind this achievement, and three key focusses: tradition, innovation and social responsibility.
With more than 200 hectares of their own vineyards, Polvorete comes from some young vines in El Bierzo. These vines are planted in calcareous clay soils at more than 750 metres above sea level and cultivated using local traditional agriculture.
In the winery, the Polvorete grapes are destemmed and gently pressed. The resulting must then ferments in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature.
Polvorete is a new project from Emilio Moro in El Bierzo. A bright, fun and easy to drink white wine that is the perfect way to explore the fresh and expressive Godello variety.
