Petrilli Cacc'e Mmitte Motta del Lupo is an organic red wine produced by Petrilli with the Uva di Troia, Sangiovese and Bombino local varieties in the DOC Cacc'e Mmitte di Lucera, in Puglia (Italy). 
 
Paolo Petrilli is a renowned organic producer and true connoisseur of the Foggia area who has worked hard to showcase Lucera's high quality wines. His work is respectful, and this produces balanced, elegant and powerful wines that have been an example for both new and established winemakers in the Italian region of Apulia.
 
Petrilli Cacc'e Mmitte Motta del Lupo comes from vineyards located 300 metres above sea level with calcareous soil. The vines are cultivated using organic agriculture, without the use of chemical products and they are all certified by ICEA. When the grapes reach optimum ripeness, the harvest is carried out manually with a selection process in the vineyard itself.
 
Once in the winery, the Petrilli Cacc'e Mmitte Motta del Lupo grapes are gently pressed to begin alcoholic fermentation in stainless steel tanks for seven days. The wine refines in these same stainless steel tanks for 6 months.
 
A name taken from the ancient history of the Apulian countryside, when farms were made available to small winemakers, Petrilli Cacc'e Mmitte Motta del Lupo is a fresh, honest and fruity red wine.
