Perelada 5 Finques is a red wine from the Empordà, produced by the Castillo de Perelada winery. It is a blend of Garnacha, Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, Merlot, Samsó y Monastrell.
Castillo de Perelada has five farms, each with different geological conditions. Pont de Molins is known for its sandy and loamy soils, Garriga soil is gravelly, in Malaveïna, the soils are red clay, Espolla grows on black slate and Garbet on slate.
The grapes used to produce Perelada 5 Finques come from a careful selection. Perelada 5 Finques is vinified and goes through a long maceration. The subsequent fermentation occurs at a controlled temperature of 25°.
Perelada 5 Finques is finally aged for 21 months in French and American oak before resting in the bottle.
Castillo de Perelada, which in recent times has worked for expansive and innovative policies without forgetting the traditional methods, conceives wine as a work of art. The warmth and affection dedicated to each bottle is what distinguishes this winery from the rest.
