Otazu Premium Cuvée is a red wine from the Navarra made with the best Tempranillo, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot from the vineyards of the Lord of Otazu.
The grapes are grown under the influence of the continental and Atlantic climate. The significant temperature differences between day and night (32 ° C to 10 ° C respectively) help give complexity to the aromatic components of grapes during ripening.
The soil on which these vines are grown is permeable and free from salinity. The presence of mulch reduces the production of grapes naturally and controls excessive growth in wetter years.
The harvest is performed manually during the night, in baskets of 12kg. Fermentation is done in stainless steel tanks at 16 ° C and maturing takes place in French oak barrels from Allier for 14 months.
The palate is presented with a greedy entrance and round tannins, steady and elegant finish.
Dark cherry red with ruby highlights.
The nose is intense and complex with sweet and fruity notes. Notes of cedar on a background of red and black fruits in liquor.
