Oddero Barbera d'Alba Superiore is a monovarietal Barbera red wine from the DOC Barbera d'Alba, produced by Poderi e Cantine Oddero.

Poderi e Cantine Oddero is a family winery that is a historic name among producers in Barolo. It was founded in 1878 and is located in Langhe, in Piedmont. It is currently in the hands of the same family, has 35 hectares of vineyards and cultivates based on traditional know-how and using new production techniques to produce high quality grapes and wines.

Oddero Barbera d'Alba Superiore is made with grapes from two vineyards. Both have a plantation density of about 4,700 plants per hectare and lie at an altitude of about 230-250 metres above sea level. They have an average age of 15 to 20 years and produce from 8,000 to 9,000 kg/ha. One is located in Castiglione Falleto and the other in La Morra.

To produce Oddero Barbera d'Alba Superiore the grapes are harvested manually so that an initial selection of the best bunches can be made while still in the field. Once in the cellar, they ferment and macerate for about 10 days in stainless steel tanks and then undergo malolactic fermentation. Lastly, the wine is aged for 12 to 18 months in 5,000 litre Slavonian oak foudres. It is not bottled until summer. The total production is 12.000 bottles.

Oddero Barbera d'Alba Superiore is a limited production Barbera wine with a ageing of 12 to 18 months in foudres.
