O Morto Vía Revolucionaria Treixadura Pura is a natural, ecological and vegan-friendly white wine made by O Morto Wines in the D.O. Ribeira (Galicia) with the Treixadura native variety.
Matias Michelini is a restless Argentine winegrower who left his home country to set up his own project in the Valle del Avia, in the Ribadavia area (Orense). Under the name O Morto Wines, he cultivates 4 hectares of native vineyards with the utmost respect for the soil to extract the maximum purity of the grape. A purity that is maintained through minimal intervention vinification.
O Morto Vía Revolucionaria Treixadura Pura comes from young vines planted in granite soil. They are cultivated using organic agriculture with minimal sulphur and copper treatments and following the biodynamic calendar. The yields are low and the harvest is carried out manually when the grapes have developed great nuances but have not lost the necessary acidity.
When the grapes reach the winery, they are directly pressed and the resulting O Morto Vía Revolucionaria Treixadura Pura must ferments spontaneously with native yeasts in stainless steel tanks. Finally, the wine is bottled, undergoing a light cold clarification and with hardly any sulphur added.
O Morto Vía Revolucionaria Treixadura Pura is made through the maximum expression of the terroir and grape. A fresh and mineral wine that will transport you to a magical area with just one sip.
